Veteran shortstop Paul DeJong has agreed to a take care of the Chicago White Sox, sources informed ESPN’s Jesse Rogers on Tuesday.

The one-year settlement is pending a bodily, which is predicted to be accomplished subsequent week.

DeJong, who grew up in Antioch, Illinois, and attended Illinois State, performed for the St. Louis Cardinals from 2017 till he was traded to Toronto this previous Aug. 1. The 30-year-old was launched by the Blue Jays on Aug. 21 and signed two days later with San Francisco.
